Within Reach Hospice Bereavement Care is here to support our West Michigan Community with the faith and compassion that fosters strength and hope while helping individuals and families grieve well.
Bereavement care provides the education, support, and understanding needed after the loss of a loved one. It is not a “one size fits all” service but offers companionship through each individual’s unique healing process.
A 3-year study conducted before COVID-19 found that 57% of Americans are grieving in some way—the loss of a loved one, patients, human connection—at any given time. That means, if you’re walking down the street or shopping at the store, every other person you see is dealing with grief. We give those people a place to find hope and healing through our virtual and in-person counseling services.

There are numerous ways to serve and support our community. Volunteer opportunities range from providing compassionate care to those grieving or supporting others through administrative work.
